Hello, This is the 47th General Student Council Information and Welfare Bureau of the Graduate School of Chung-Ang University.

To support students' academic and research activities, the General Graduate Student Council would like to provide ChatGPT-based AI utilization environments for some computers in open information rooms.

Recently, AI tools have been used in various academic and research processes such as data organization, writing support, translation, idea planning, research planning, and presentation materials. 

In response, the student council created two computer environments in an open information room so that students can experience and use AI tools more conveniently.

3. Precautions for Use

Please keep the following in mind for your safe and smooth use.

1) No entry of personal and sensitive information

Please do not enter sensitive information such as personal information such as name, contact number, student number, resident registration number, account number, and password, research participant information, institution internal data, non-public data, and undisclosed research data.

2) Check usage history and conversation content

In order to create a safe use environment, the student council will make a preset to prevent previous conversations from being saved when using ChatGPT. 

Nevertheless, the open information room is a space shared by several people, so please double-check if there are any conversations left after use. 

It is difficult for the student council to be responsible for personal information exposure and data leakage caused by information entered by the user directly, so please pay special attention before using it.

3) Don't log out ChatGPT account

The computer works with a pre-set account for public use. Please do not log out after use for smooth service delivery. 

After you finish using it, instead of logging out, make sure there are no conversations left and organize the screens that the next user will use.

4) Compliance with usage time

AI-enabled computers in open information rooms are shared resources used by everyone, and the usage time per person is limited to less than an hour if there is a waiting person. 

Additional availability is available if there is no waiting person, but if there is a waiting person, please make a concession for the next user.

5) observance of academic ethics

Please use the contents generated by AI as reference materials, and if you use them for assignments, papers, reports, etc., please go through your own review and revision process.

6) Do not use for inappropriate purposes

Infringement of the rights of others, generation of false information, cheating, and use for unethical purposes are restricted. Please use it only for learning purposes.
